Since the corona virus disease broke out in Wuhan, Hubei Province China 2019, world has known no peace terms of global health. The COVID-19 pandemic brought a new lifestyle wearing facemask called ‘new normal’. media particularly newspapers have been fighting this through different reports such as straight news, features, opinions and cartoons among others. However, seem not to be doing enough war their editorials. above dictated study which examined how Nigerian framed second wave Using qualitative research method, analysed contents published editorials selected on Nigeria. Data were presented simple statistics while hypotheses raised tested using Chi-square Statistical Technique. found that Vanguard Punch (the newspapers) very few (poor frequency) phase Nigeria despite deadly effects disease. also revealed 13 types frames (content categories frame) upsurge by newspapers.
